The School of Information Student Association (SISA) and all of the SI Student groups invite you to our first ever Welcome (Back) events over Labor Day weekend. These events are open to both new and incoming students. Details for the events are listed below. Transportation to each event is up to the individual, but we HIGHLY encourage carpooling. Come out to celebrate Labor Day with current and incoming SI students. All SI student groups will be providing food and drink (vegetarian and non-vegetarian options) as well as games. Feel free to bring along guests as well as any food items or games. (Alcohol is prohibited in Gallup Park). The closest parking to the Maas Shelter is at the very end of the Gallup Park Road. Enter at the North Entrance off Fuller Road and follow it to the very end (indicated on attached map). Bus Directions: AATA Routes 22 and 3 lead to Gallup Park (if you take Route 3, you will need to cross the bridge within Gallup Park to reach the Maas Shelter). We have 4 lanes reserved for 2 hours at a DISCOUNTED rate of $5 per person for the first 20 people ($8 otherwise). Colonial Lanes is located behind a car wash, just past CVS. There is a sign on the building that says "Cubs Lounge" (but no indication that it is Colonial Lanes). Bus Directions: AATA Route 6 will take you to Colonial Lanes.
